Information & FAQs

We are overjoyed to share our big day with you! We'll continue to add details as we get closure but here is some information to help you prepare to spend your time with us in November!

Travel & Lodging

Where should we stay?

Hotel
Hotel Kabuki is a common favorite. You can use this booking link or group code: 128309.
The Metro is also a great boutique hotel (Noah's mom's favorite) in our neighborhood.
Stanyan Park Hotel is just about as close as you can get to Golden Gate Park.
Hotel Zoe is also good and close to the welcome drinks.

Airbnb
You could also stay in an Airbnb, we'd recommend something central (away from SOMA and the Tenderloin). As a reference for neighborhoods, we live in the Duboce Park area (between the Haight and the Castro) and the wedding will be in Golden Gate Park.

Welcome Drinks | Friday, November 3rd

Where: SF Brewing Company @ 3150 Polk St, San Francisco, CA 94109
When: 8pm - 10pm
Attire: Casual
What: We'll have the back half of the brewery, come hang out with us!
We'll have light bites and San Francisco inspired drinks. SF Brewery is located in Ghirardelli Square near Fisherman's Wharf.

Is there parking?

There are some parking lots and street parking near Ghirardelli Square but we would recommend Uber/Lyft if you will be imbibing. If you do drive, be sure not to leave anything visible in your car.

Wedding Day | Saturday, November 4th

Where: The Conservatory of Flowers @ 100 JFK Dr., San Francisco, CA 94118
When: 4:30pm - 11pm
Attire: Formal
What: Our wedding ceremony (!), cocktails, dinner, and dancing!

How do I get to the wedding venue?

The Conservatory of Flowers is located at 100 John F Kennedy Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118. John F Kennedy Dr. is closed to cars which means you cannot get dropped off right in front.

We recommend taking a Lyft/Uber to:
Lisa and Douglas Goldman Tennis Center
50 Bowling Green Drive
San Francisco, CA 94117

It's about a 5 minute walk north towards JFK Dr., then make a left.
Walk towards the big white building, you can't miss it!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the Conservatory between 4:30 and 4:45pm. The galleries inside the Conservatory are still open to the public until 4:30pm, if you do arrive early, feel free to explore the park. We plan to start the ceremony promptly at 5pm.

What will be outdoors vs. indoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing will be indoors.

Will there be kids at the wedding?

This will be an adults-only celebration and we ask that you make arrangements to have a night out without your kiddos.

What will the weather be like?

Expect cloudy (daytime) with a chance of fog (after sunset) and chilly (the whole time). There may be showers at night.

The average high in November is 63° F, with an average low of 50° F. We recommend bringing a coat/jacket/shawl, whatever you feel comfortable with, even if you don’t typically get cold. For the Angelenos: you will be cold, bring layers.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal. That can mean a suit and tie, cocktail dress, dressy two piece, dressy one piece, you get the idea. We’ll be surrounded by flowers, greenery, and nature, feel free to play into that with your outfits. Be sure to bring layers and check the weather as we get closer.

Let’s talk about shoes.

All shoes are welcome, but the floors of the Conservatory galleries have metal grates with holes that stilettos could get stuck in. If you do choose to wear shoes with a thin heel, just be mindful of the holes inside the galleries.

Accessibility

If you have a disability or need assistance to attend the wedding, please let us know how we can help by emailing noahandvina@gmail.com. The Conservatory of Flowers is wheelchair accessible for both motorized and non-motorized chairs.
